Watermelon

With increased acreage in most of the July/August growing regions, and with the crops looking to produce average to well above average yields, there is every reason to expect the surplus of watermelon availability to continue as we make our way through August. One factor that might disturb this is the impact of Hurricane Debby bringing significant rain to the North Carolina, Maryland and Delaware growing regions throughout the week of August 5th.
